Chris Purifoy, the president of BandFind Inc., grew up in Arkansas before moving to Nashville to attend college.  His degree focus was in Recording Industry Management (RIM) from the acclaimed MTSU RIM program in Nashville, TN.  After college he found his niche in the social music technology industry.  He is currently in charge of operations and strategic planning for the music technology venture BandFind Inc.  BandFind Inc. analyzes music industry problems and provides realistic workable solutions.   BandFind’s current focus is within the music education industry, with a service due to launch in July that will solve the many problems band directors, parents, and students face on a day to day basis.

He also serves on the board of directors for the Nashville based creative service and consultation corporation, IAMwe Innovations.  IAMwe focuses its expertise in several specific areas: photography, still and motion design, social media, web 2.0, business, and marketing.  He also serves on the board for a medical technology corporation located in North West AR that specializes in providing mobile and wireless dictation services to doctors around the world.  In addition, he manages three recording artists out of Nashville, TN:  Jillia Jackson, Mike Anderson, and Jeffrey Joslin.

Aside from his professional accolades, he considers himself an innovator first and an entrepreneur second.  His career path has given him a deep understanding of the start-up process and all that it entails.   He has a passion for solving problems and writing strategic plans and has a keen eye for aesthetics.  Above all else, however, is his love and passion for music and the industry of music.    He has devoted his life to being a catalyst for change and innovation within the recording industry.
